They are very nice an helpful also they are very caring people an will help you out
Here is the backstory to the visit:
The ladies at Hope Veterinary are awesome. Our animals are always in good hands here!
This turned out to be the decision that kept my cat from going to an animal hospital in Wake for overnight observation.
Great friendly compassionate vet practice. I fell lucky I have them in my neighborhood.
Dr. Cox is very personable, caring, and more importantly, knowledgeable. She diagnosed my cat's bladder infection, treated him, and gave me updates throughout the day on his progress. His bladder infection could have traveled to his kidneys, or killed him. This is why it was very wise of the office staff to have him brought in the morning. The next day the office called to check in and see how he was doing, if he was passing urine, and eating.
I felt the entire staff cared for my cat and did their best at all times. When I called I explained the situation and how I felt it looks like a UTI or blockage. Instead of bringing the cat later in the afternoon for the earliest appointment, it was suggested I bring him to the office now (10:30am) because they would need to collect urine to diagnose a UTI.
It's a long review, and I tried to include as much background to support my high opinion of Dr. Cox and her excellent staff.
I was shocked when I received the bill. The bill was more than what I was expecting and I should have been advised the approximate costs before treating, but it was an emergency and I did tell them to do whatever they needed. The bill was itemized and electronic which was nice. Considering the procedures performed, the same day appointment, and that my cat is back to normal, the cost is very fair for the quality of treatment. I tell myself that if he had to go to an overnight hospital the cost might be in the thousands, which we couldn't afford.
If you're looking for a family friendly practice for your pets, look no further.
A few weeks after the move to our new home, one of our two Indoor cats started behaving odd. I assumed he was stressed and having a difficult time adjusting to his new home. I needed a veterinarian asap when I noticed he was visiting his litter box several times and leaving nothing. I assumed he was blocked or a UTI. In NY He's only needed to visit our veterinarian for his annual checkups. I found the nearest veterinarian and asked for an appointment.
Now the review:
Professional approach to the pets for the routine checks, very friendly atmosphere.
