Nice path around lake. Good places to fish. Wish there was swimming for both dogs and people but there is not. Path is a bit narrow so if bikes and people are on it it can be hard during high times. Early afternoon mid week is not busy.

Big loop trail, small nature museum, rental facility on the lake, boat rentals and fishing. Staff a bit stand offish. Visitors who frequent the park are very friendly. Weekends can be very busy. The trail allows dogs, joggers and bikes, so be alert - conflicts pop up. Joggers and bikers aren't always courteous. Good place to birdwatch when it's quiet.

Love taking my kids and dog here. The kids love the $1 ice cream (and the rocking chairs, fishing and nature backpacks) and the dog loves the treats they give out in the nature center after our long hikes. Very dog friendly place!

Very well maintained and organized. Clean bathrooms. Soft mulch path around the lake.

Love the trail! Just the right combination of hills and flats for a challenging, but do-able, 2 miles.
